How to succeed in an interview?

For an interview to be successful we have to get to know you as much as possible. You will find information regarding open positions on our webpages. During the interview process we will introduce the position to you in more detail and show you the working environment. We will do our best to answer all of your questions.

At the beginning we are dependent on the information that you will provide us in your resume or possibly in  your cover letter. In case you don’t know where to start, here are a couple of tips for you…

RESUME

Remember a simple rule:  Be exact – short – clear and of course true.

You should start with the most important information; you may want to follow this template:

  • Name and contact information
  • Education and courses
  • Experience (including time period, name of the position, name of the employer) beginning with the present state going to the past
  • Skills: PC skills, foreign languages, other skills, licenses (driving license)

We recommend the resume to be a maximum length of two pages. Adding a photograph is an advantage. Adjust your resume according the requirements for individual positions with emphasis on the given criteria; do not apply for various positions with the same CV.

COVER LETTER

We recommend you to combine your resume with a cover letter allowing you to stand out. Be creative and forget about internet ready-made templates. Every employer likes to see originality. In the cover letter you should emphasize what you have to offer, what you would like to do and why you are interested in the particular position.

GETTING READY FOR THE INTERVIEW

Take your time to get ready for the interview. Look up additional information on the company websites to have a good overview of what is going on in the company. In case you cannot come for the interview, apologize in advance. For an interview always come on time and in a good mood.

 

Selecting Process

The particular selection period can vary in regards to the position type. The selection process can have several rounds.

Typically we follow these steps:

OPEN POSITIONS/APPLICATION

Go through the list of open positions. In case you do not find a suitable position you can register in our database and we will contact you in case we find an open suitable position for you. However we recommend that you apply directly for a particular open position.

RESUME REVIEW

We carefully review your resume and will contact you within 14 days.

PERSONAL INTERVIEW

During the interview you will get to meet with the HR generalist or possibly your future manager. We will ask questions to get to know you as much as possible. You will also get the opportunity to ask us whatever you are interested in.

KNOWLEDGE TEST

According to the knowledge requirements we will ask you to take a test, which is another round of the selection process, but can also be a part of the interview.

NEW HIRES

If you successfully pass all the requirements, we will contact you to determine individual steps in finalizing your hiring process.

What should you expect as a new hire?

We would like you to feel comfortable in your new position as soon as possible and therefore for each new hire we have prepared a new employee orientation program with an experienced mentor.
